American Eagle's Return Policy
American Eagle has no time limit on returns. You can always return an American Eagle product for a full refund, no matter how long it's been since you purchased it. This includes clearance items, sale items, Aerie products, and Tailgate products. The original tags do not need to be attached to qualify for a refund. However, swimsuits with the hygienic liner removed are not eligible for return. Refunds are applied to the original form of purchase, so American Eagle will automatically apply your refund to your gift card.
How to Make an American Eagle Return by Mail
If you made your purchase online then you can ship your return back to American Eagle by mail. Just follow this procedure:
1. Go to the American Eagle Returns page.
2. Enter the order number in the upper text field.
3. Enter your email address in the lower text field.
4. Click on the Next button.
5. Follow the prompts to print out the shipping label.
6. Pack up your return, using the original packaging if possible. If you use the original package, make sure the old shipping label is either removed or completely obscured.
7. Attach the new shipping label.
